Part of North Riverdale · Toronto Neighbourhood Guide
Riverdale
Riverdale is one of Toronto's defining east-end neighbourhoods, set beside Riverdale Park and the slope of the Don Valley, with tree-lined streets of Victorian and Edwardian homes and the Danforth's restaurants and shops a short walk away. The name is a popular informal label for a residential pocket within the City of Toronto's official North Riverdale neighbourhood. It is the kind of established, family-minded area where character homes are well worth renovating, adding to, or buying into for the long term.
